Edenton

A stop at Chero's for lunch
Chero's is a cute little historic building in Edenton. The food was yummy even thou it took forever to get it. And with a restless little one it wasn't fun
quick shot of Maddie & Daddy leaving the restaurant
Awesome old house getting redone. I love it! Can you imagine the story behind houses like this one.
The old lighthouse getting a spruce up. I have an old picture somewhere of what it looked like before

Some how these pictures got lost in the mix. These are from our trip back home from NC for Mason's party & baptism. We ate at my parents favorite little restaurant in Edenton. The food was yummy but the service was kind of crappy. We waited forever for our food and then when we got it. Maddie wouldn't eat the Mac & Cheese... eek  I got fried green tomatos & a crab cake.
I wish I could have gotten shots of the inside of the place it's supper cute.
I love the paintings inside and the painted chalkboard bar.

Gearing up for a wedding I am shooting this weekend. Trying to clean up and organize photos in my computer. Along with starting on a photobook for Maddie's 2nd year. I am kind of giving up on scrapbooking. I just can't find the time for it.

Meet Indie & Chic

Hey guys your in for a treat today!
I'd like for you to meet the super sweet Samantha from Indie & Chic.
I found her blog thru Knitty Bitties whom I did a giveaway with.
I also won ad space from a giveaway she was having! How cool is that.
I am super stoked. So neat to have your name/blog out there.
I wanted to pass the word about her awesome blog and my new favorite Etsy shop  Indie & Chic.
You must check it out! Go here and do so. Leave her some comment love.
For now here's a bit about Samantha and how Indie & Chic got started.

Hi, I'm Samantha, the brains behind Indie and Chic. I'm currently less than a month away from being 22... feels so weird to say that. Besides my business I spend all my time studying for school, looking for jobs (I graduate soon), longboarding, listening to indie bands and reading blogs.

I started I & C when I was just a tiny little Sophomore in college, now I'm a very wise and mature Senior, haha. Indie and Chic began when I found Etsy.com and started to make headbands and cards. For the first year, I had no branding and my etsy username had nothing to do with anything. So last summer in July I actually became Indie and Chic. My dream is to have a business large enough to sustain a work from home lifestyle.

-My favorite items in the shop right now are the daffodil post earrings.
I love their shape and colors, reminds me of anthropologie.

I'm also loving the membership option in the shop. Mostly just because I get to spend extra time picking out new items only available for the members and also decorating their packages.

Darling ring

These vintage earrings are to die for

I love these super cute mini mum earrings I got my eyes on the blue ones

I finally got one

Needs some cleaning up, but I was way too excited to clean it...

Yucky grainy photo but love the shot

Ain't she a beauty

So cute, she's been watching her mama

Finally grabbed me one of these Vintage Mint Green Savoy cameras off of Ebay. Yay! Thanks paypal $. It's way smaller than I thought it would be. But it's so cute. Great start for my Vintage Camera collection. Also makes for a great prop. Maddie picked it up and knew what to do with it right away. She had it turned backwards but she still knew to look thru the hole..

Pouty Carnival rider

My new cards for my Etsy shop
I got new cards for my Etsy store from here.
Cute lil store that has awesome packaging, I totally love the Library Cards. They would make a cool scrapbooking journaling piece.

Totally not happy- pouty face the whole ride.
No tears thou
Still not happy
Oh boy cotton candy..
what a sticky mess !!

We ended up taking Maddie to the Carnival Saturday in St. Mikes,
just to ride a few rides. We ended up buying a bracelet for $20, She usually loves to ride the rides, normally cries when we take her off.
But I totally learned my lesson by buying her a bracelet.
And she refused to get on any rides.. eek So what did I do I made her ride a couple. No tears just totally pouted the whole time. There was only one ride that she like the same Dinosaur ride that was at the Fourth of July Carnival. She rode that over and over then she had, had it with that ride to.

That's the last of my pictures from the birthday weekend!
We had another weekend of being sick.
I had terrible Sinus headaches and coughing fits.
So looking forward to being done with this junk..
Maddie did catch up on her rest. As this weekend we laid low.
Saturday we hung around visited the goat & their new babies that live down the street from us. Sunday we hung out with our friend and his little boy.
Him & Maddie played & we had burgers on the grill and enjoyed some of our wine.
