Rusty Gold

Going from Shorts yesterday to Jackets and Hats today brrrr rabbit
Sipping on some hot tea, housecleaning we have guests coming this week

Popping in today to share some photos of our vintage bike
I love the design of this bike, Can you image it in it's glory days
It kind of reminds me of Good Ole Pee Wee Herman
We are not sure what we want to do to it a full restore or partial
This is more my brothers specialty but we thought it was cool and couldn't pass it up

Old Blue

Check out my latest find !! Last saturday before the car show we hit a local flea market
And I found this rusty beauty! I got a dirty look from my husband when I picked it up and smiled at him.
Then when I saw the price tag, I smiled even bigger $1.00 a dollar
Can't beat that. It's so heavy.
I've had my eye
I am thinking of using it to store my scrapbooking/card making supplies
or sewing stuff.. or planting some herbs in it.
hmmm so many ideas

I have some exciting news! Guess what I have decided to do my first ever giveaway here on my blog!!
I am teaming up with a great Etsy Seller!!
Stay tuned hoping to make the annoucement next week
So excited!!!

Antique hunting in Swansboro

Love this bed.
When I put this picture on my computer I spotted  that robins egg blue toolbox
eek. I didn't even see that. There was so much in this little building. I must have missed it :(
Mike if your reading this  "hint, hint" would be a great Xmas gift. lol
I have had a thing lately for old toolboxes, and this one is in my favorite color!!

Lots of goodies, love the green coffee table, and that blue step stool
Love this chair, the color is awesome, pillow is pretty cute too.
I love to get this for Maddie's room. I've seen this print somewhere on the web.
Awesome store, Love the stuff on the outside. Maddie was very well behaved.
I want this Chandlier too !!  I like the mirror in the back ground too.
Luv the colors
I love the yellow Nugrape bottles., so different. You don't see many yellow print bottles.

Checking out the bottles, My brother is a bottle collector.

Couple photos from our side trip to Swansboro.
My brother took us to some neat antique shops along the way.
The couple pictures above with all of the cottagey, beachy stuff was actually a little shed.
Stuffed full of goodies. It even had bead board on the inside. Painted a cute shade of green.
I ended up getting an old bread box, and a cute little bird planter. But saw lots that I wanted.
We then went to downtown Swansboro and walked around and checked out a few shops.
I'll share some of those another day. Hope I am boring you by dragging are trip photos on, and on.

Ooh I have one of these, I paid $50 something for mine

Tom and I headed to Lancaster Pa last Saturday, Just to get away for the day. We had fun. Did some furniture shopping, visited our favorite little wine tasting place Mount Hope. Where we took home Sangeria, Apple Wine. We had a nice lunch at Miller's buffett (Tom's Favorite) All u can eat. Need I say more.
Here are a few pictures from our Antiquing ventures. I did bring home some things, need to take pictures of them. I got a cool little metal sign (teal), vintage tea towels & table runners, old mason jars w/metal lid.
