4 yr ~ Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday was my 4 yr Wedding Anniversary!
We were married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica with some of our family and friends.
It's a great couple of years! Hope we have many more healthy, happy years to come.
I would DEFINATLY recommend a destination wedding to anyone. It was easy and hassle free. We were married at Sandals in Ocho rios

This picture makes me sad :( Look at that water.. I want to go back..
Maybe for our 5 yr anniversary. hint, hint

Bedroom Redo - The Before pics

Been working on updating my bedroom for while. I just feel like it's so dark. The dark furniture, the paint and faded curtains.. eek

My favorite color is Robins Egg Blue, I wanted to include that and make it have a beachy kind of vibe. This is the bedspread I got in the bright blue sham color.  More to come.

I feel blessed for this opportunity!!

What we've been up to

Bad Hair days
Found this display on Maddie's play kitchen counter. What an imagination ! Teacups & Hot dogs

Don't mind the spagetti face!! Loves wearing Mama's flip flops. She puts them on her self

We've been busy, playing, organizing redecorating our master bedroom, selling our living room set and today we are home with the stomach flu.

Yuck I don't wish this on anyone. Especially a 20 month old who can't tell you what hurts and whats wrong. She's been up all night throwing up. I never seen so much come out of such a small lil girl. I feel so bad for her. Maddie & I are just chilling today. I am trying to catch up on some things.

PW Maple Pecan Scones

Yum...

Not as pretty looking as PW's, but hey it's the first time I made them.

Sunday I made Maple Pecan Scones from my Pioneer Woman Cookbook (which I love)
Pretty easy recipe. I was proud of myself. I got a Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas and have been using it like crazy. Monday night I made Homemade Chicken Pot Pie.. mmm... another yummy recipe. While I was trying to make the filling for the Pot Pie my daughter was finger painting on our tile floor with Dawn dish washing liquid. Oh boy! That was fun

I can finally show you these ...

A "crunchy" owl toy for Mason

Scrappy Sweatshirt for Lindsey

A tote bag for Grandma Carolyn

Journals for Ashley, Lindsey & Lynn

Scrappy "hot dog" shirt for Amber (my daycare providers daughter)

Painting for Mason

Xmas gifts I made for everyone. I did make a bunch of others but I got into Xmas panic mode and forgot to take pictures. I got the idea for the Owl toy from an online tutorial (can't remember where I seen it) sorry :)
Sweatshirt idea from Meg Duerksen, and the poem/verse from the bird painting I saw on Etsy.
