Egg-cellant Easter

E
.
My favorite ! So pretty

We had a great Easter, Hope you guys did too!
Beautiful weather! We headed to Frederick to Tom's Aunt Tinker's house to celebrate.
We don't get over there often so it was nice to see his Grandma & all of his Aunts &
Uncles and their families. The ride wasn't to bad. I got to finish reading Nicholas Sparks The Last Song
whew.. tear jerker. Grab a box of tissues if your going to read that one. Maddie had a ball, Tom's cousin has
two twins who are 5. And all over the place she had fun playing with their toys.
Mostly trucks & guns and golf clubs. What a combination. We had to end up hiding the plastic golf clubs.
We had ham and yummy crab cakes, I made  pasta salad (which was gone in 2 seconds I think) and a
dump cake in my bean pot. Some were frighten by the whole DUMP part of the title.
The kids had an Easter Egg hunt, Maddie got the hang of it right away. She was
so into it. It was hot and her face was bright red. Hard to get her to come inside.

It was a long weekend! Ooh we did make it to the flea market on saturday morning.
That was a big mistake as we found a couple vintage brooches but no real goodies.
However we stopped at a consignment shop on our way home and I hit the jackpot.
Several vintage pieces of fabric, a teal planter (for me), and some vintage linens.
Two cute yellow rose pillow cases. Soon to hit my Etsy shop.

Today it is suppose to be 87 degrees WHAT !! Feels like it should be August not April.
Heading out after work to a field of daffodils with Maddie to try and get some pictures.
I spotted the little field the other day. Worried about bees & stuff thou. We'll see what happens.
