ESVA Road Trip

Thought I would take a break from wedding photos and share a few from our recent "date day " excursion.
My parents kept the kids (yay! much needed break)
Tom and I got away for a day and decided to explore the ESVA
The Eastern Shore of VA a long road with many little tiny towns to explore on your way to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. If you ever have the chance you must take time to check out a few towns. Some of my favorites are Onancock, Exmore, Wachapeague, Cape Charles
I love the antique stores, diners, beaches, and little town atmosphere.
Some of my favorite highlights on the trip were having lunch at Onancock by the water (had yummy fish tacos) while hitting a couple yard sales & an antiques store. We even got to see one of the Tall ships that was visiting the little harbor there. Then we traveled all the way down to Cape Charles
to look for Sea Glass even thou I couldn't find the spot I've read about to hunt
we got to walk the nice beach there and enjoy the breeze.
On our way home we even got to tour a winery in the town Bloxom and hit another antique store in Wachapeague. I even finally got to stop and take
a picture of an old motel sign I see every time we come thru and we say oh we'll stop next time we are down. My brother had just recently got pictures but I wanted some for myself :) lol
